Another weekend is upon us
April 02 2009
This could be your winning hand!
Here we are again, the sun is shining, the roads are not busy with tourist traffic yet and you're in the mood for a bike run this weekend. Where better to come than to some of the roads in the Scottish Borders, voted amongst the Top 10 in the UK.
We'll be out and about again offering top tips and advice on how to get the most from your weekend ride out. We could meet you at St Mary's Loch, Carter Bar, Duns or Berwick, who knows. One thing is for sure is that we'll have a load of freebies, yet again, to hand out. Come and speak with us, we're happy to interact with you. As our new campaign poster emphasises, "Sometimes a word in the ear is better than a ticket". Tickets are not what we're all about. The guys who run the routes on our "around the corner" campaign are all very experienced, highly trained motorcyclists with many, many, many miles under their belts in all weather conditions and all riding scenarios. We've got loads to offer our like minded biking enthusiasts and we'd rather share a coffee with you than dish out a ticket. Rest assured though, if you ride like a plonker then you deserve what's coming your way. But, like I said, we'd rather chat and have a laugh. You'll get no better free advice on how to improve your riding skills than from one of us. Don't be shy.
If you're a regular to the Borders, or have only just discovered what a biker's paradise it is, check out our Events page and sign up for the Blue Knights Poker Run on Sunday 10 May. It's a fantastic day out with great prizes on offer and the proceeds go to charity.
