Come and join us at Galashiels

March 19 2009

Following the success of our 2009 launch at the Scottish Motorcycle Show at Ingliston last weekend, we're following it up with a more intimate launch "on the road" at BCG Bikes, Channel Street, Galashiels this Saturday morning at about 1030hrs. We'll be there to answer your questions and give out free advice on how to read the road better, anticipate what might happen, improve your observations and generally how you can work at becoming a better biker. We'll also have the usual free goodies to give away.

Why not come along, even for a short time. The weather is meant to be good with a dry, sunny day forecast. It's the ideal time to get the bike out of the garage, dust it down, check the tyres and fluid levels and shake off these winter blues with a ride through the Border country.

From this weekend onwards, throughout the summer and into the autumn, police advanced motorcyclists will be out and about on the Borders roads, covering our six routes, (which you'll find on our Routes page and on our revised maps). We'll be there to engage with like-minded biking enthusiasts and to pass out our knowledge and tips gained from time in the saddle and miles under the belt in all weathers. Don't be shy, if there's something you've been wanting to ask us, then when you see us, come and ask.  If you happen to miss us why not post your query on our Forum page, or ask us next weekend....or the weekend after...or the weekend after...you get the drift.  We enjoy the summer months riding our bikes, just as much as you do, but the secret is to stay safe so that you can do it next summer too.  That's why we're here to help and give you all pointers.   Hopefully see you on Saturday.
