What is New?

March 13 2009

So what is new?  First of all is our new branding. Our red biker, seen at the top of the page, will highlight everything you see and read about "Around the Corner". The symbol and new colour scheme will appear on posters, maps and all our merchandise.

The next big event has happened on our ROUTES page.  We've introduced another four routes for the 2009 season. These routes were drawn from bikers who, for years, have travelled the roads in the Scottish Borders. With some persuasion, we extracted the best-kept, favourite routes from our own bikers, all in an effort to make your day out on two-wheels more enjoyable. The routes feature a definitive guide accompanied by a full description of various potential hazards along the way. Needless to say, the all important food and fuel stops have been highlighted.

BIKER FRIENDLY PREMISES - The "friends of the campaign" stops throughout our area will feature our campaign branding on their doors/windows and will provide you with any details on the campaign you need. They've all been issued with stocks of our new pull-out maps featuring The Duns River Tour and The Blue Bonnet run.

SCOTTISH BORDERS LAUNCH - If you can't make the Bikeshow this weekend we will be having a road launch in the Borders next Saturday, 21 March 2009. We will be at BCG Bikes at The Arcade, Channel Street, Galashiels from 1030hrs onwards. You can visit the BCG website by going to our LINKS page and clicking on the BCG link.

We are in the process of developing some special signage with our Scottish Borders Council partners. This should be in place very soon so watch out for the signs, our "around the corner" biker, like the one at the top of this page.

Have a look through our site, whether you are a first time visitor or a regular. Let us know what you think - the FORUM is for you to use.
