Welcome to the North East region of Around the Corner.

Covering an area of around 3373 square miles, Grampian extends from the Cairngorm mountains in the west to the Moray and Aberdeenshire coasts to the north and east. With this comes stunning scenery and beautiful countryside, not to mention some excellent biking routes, which can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of experience.

Our own police motorcyclists have devised three immensely enjoyable routes, some of which overlap and should provide you with a great day out. You'll also find a variety of biker friendly stops along the way.

We are committed to making the roads in the north east as safe as possible for the motorcycling public through our 5 year initiative Operation Zenith, which commenced in 2010. This year we have forged exciting partnerships with global companies like BP and Maersk as well as Ecosse Motorcycles and Aberdeenshire Community Safety Partnership, who have provided their valuable support to the campaign. Local media and radio stations will feature adverts throughout the year as they did for us last year, helping us reach out to as many as we can.

We are regularly out on the these routes, you'll find us very approachable and always happy to answer any questions, pass on the benefits of our knowledge and experience or just engage in a bit of friendly banter.

Please check out the links for general biking information, events in our area and of course Operation Zenith.
