Welcome to the Tayside Region of Around The Corner.
Tayside covers an area of 2,896 square miles, the majority of which is rural countryside. The region extends from the Cairngorm National Park in the north to Kinross-shire in the south. From Angus in the East we go all the way to Rannoch Moor in the west. The road network covers 5,000 miles, allowing you to navigate your way through historic sites and some of the most picturesque scenery in Scotland on a variety of interesting routes.
Our current police motorcyclists have identified our routes within the Perth and Kinross area. They provide an enjoyable, scenic and at times challenging experience.
Along with our partners, we want to welcome motorcyclists into our area, and encourage responsible driving to contribute towards a safe experience. The routes are given regular attention by Perth and Kinross Council Traffic and Road Safety Unit and Scotland TranServ, to maintain good road surface conditions and deal swiftly with reports of defects. Tayside Safety Camera Partnership also enforce the speed limit at locations on these routes where there is a history of collisions, casualties and excessive speed.
We aim to encourage safe and responsible riding in the area and improve the safety of all road users.
You will see us out and about on the listed routes and beyond. Please feel free to speak to us at any time. We are always keen to speak with you and find out about your motorcycling experiences, and help with any road safety issues you have.
